These Terms of Service govern your use of floresboatcharter.com and any charter enquiry you send us. This website presents Flores Compass Charters, a booking brand for private Flores boat charters. Bookings are handled directly by Komodo Luxury, a Labuan Bajo operator founded in 2015. Reading and using this site means you accept the terms below, current as of 2026 and subject to change.
Who runs this site, and who books your charter?
Flores Compass Charters is a content and enquiry brand published by Juara Holding Group. The website exists to describe west-to-east Flores boat routes — Labuan Bajo, the north coast, Riung’s 17 Islands Marine Park, and Maumere — and to route your enquiry to the people who actually run the trips.
The actual charter is booked, contracted, and operated by Komodo Luxury, a real award-winning operator founded in 2015 and based in Labuan Bajo. When you send an enquiry, the reservations team at Komodo Luxury handles pricing, availability, contracts, payment, and the trip itself.
Two contact routes reach that team directly:
| Route | Detail | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| +62 811 3823 875 | Fast quotes, route questions, real-time availability | |
| sales@komodoluxury.com | Written quotes, group bookings, documentation |
Nothing on this site is an offer that binds anyone. A charter exists only once Komodo Luxury issues you a written quote and you confirm it under their booking terms.
What do the prices and route descriptions on this site actually mean?
Every price, duration, capacity, and route on floresboatcharter.com is indicative and for planning only. Figures are stated as of 2026 and are subject to change without notice.
Boat charter is a fuel-, weather-, and distance-driven business, so numbers move. As a region-wide anchor, Booking.com listed 39 boats bookable in the Flores region as of 2026, at an average of about USD 293 per night for an upcoming weekend — but that is an accommodation benchmark, not a point-to-point expedition rate. Private per-boat charters along custom routes run roughly a value tier of about USD 300 to USD 1,500 per day depending on boat size, number of nights, distance covered, and fuel. Treat that range as guidance, never as a guaranteed quote.
By using this site you accept that:
- Indicative prices are not offers and do not lock in a rate.
- Your firm price comes only in a written quote from Komodo Luxury.
- Availability is confirmed at the moment of booking, not by anything published here.
- Seasonality descriptions (calmer seas roughly May to September, more swell and wind roughly November to March) are general climatology, not a forecast or a promise about your dates.
How do quotes, deposits, and cancellations work?
The commercial terms — deposit amount, payment schedule, cancellation windows, refunds, and rescheduling — are set by Komodo Luxury in the quote and booking confirmation they send you. Those operator terms govern your charter. We summarise the shape below for orientation only; the operator’s written terms always prevail if anything here differs.
| Stage | What generally happens | Where the binding detail lives |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry | You describe route, dates, group size | This site / WhatsApp / email |
| Quote | Operator confirms availability and price | Written quote from Komodo Luxury |
| Deposit | A deposit secures the boat and dates | Operator booking terms |
| Balance | Remaining balance due before departure | Operator booking terms |
| Cancellation | Refund depends on notice given | Operator cancellation policy |
Read the operator’s booking terms before you pay anything. Sending money confirms you accept those terms, not merely these website terms.
What are the rules on national park fees and permits?
Routes that enter Komodo National Park are subject to park entrance, ranger, and conservation fees for private boats. The park is managed by Balai Besar Taman Nasional Komodo under the Directorate General of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation (KSDAE), Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
We do not publish a park fee figure as fact because amounts change and are set by the authorities. Confirm current fees with Komodo Luxury or the park authority before you travel. Fees, permits, and any conservation charges are your responsibility unless your written quote states they are included.
What is our liability — and what is it not?
We publish route information in good faith, but boat travel in eastern Indonesia carries real, weather-dependent uncertainty. You accept the following limits when you use this site.
- We give no guaranteed outcomes. Wildlife sightings, weather, sea state, snorkel visibility, and schedule timing cannot be promised.
- Itineraries can change. Captains may alter or shorten a route for safety, weather, tides, or authority instructions, and that is a normal part of expedition-style travel.
- Website content is informational. To the fullest extent Indonesian law allows, Juara Holding Group and Flores Compass Charters are not liable for loss, injury, delay, or expense arising from the trip itself — the operator carries operational responsibility under your charter contract.
- Third parties. We are not responsible for the acts, pricing, or terms of the operator, boat owners, or any independent supplier, except as their own contracts with you provide.
- Personal safety. Follow crew and ranger instructions at all times; travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Nothing here excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indonesian law.
How do you handle my data and privacy?
When you enquire, you share contact details and trip information. We and Komodo Luxury use them only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange your charter.
We handle personal data in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang No. 27 Tahun 2022, UU PDP). We are also aware that international visitors, including those in the EU and UK, are protected by frameworks such as the GDPR, and we aim to respect those principles: lawful purpose, data minimisation, and your right to ask what we hold.
You may, as of 2026:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it, subject to booking and legal record-keeping needs.
- Withdraw consent to further contact at any time.
To exercise any of these, message WhatsApp +62 811 3823 875 or email sales@komodoluxury.com. We do not sell your personal data.
Which law governs these terms?
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute connected with this website or a charter enquiry is subject to the jurisdiction of the Indonesian courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available to you under your home country’s law.
What if these terms change?
We may update these terms as prices, regulations, and operations evolve. The version published on floresboatcharter.com at the time of your enquiry applies. Material figures on this site are stamped as of 2026 and are subject to change. If anything here is unclear, ask before you book — WhatsApp +62 811 3823 875 or sales@komodoluxury.com — and the reservations team will walk you through the specific terms for your route.
