Komodo National Park is managed by Balai Besar Taman Nasional Komodo, under the Directorate General of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation (KSDAE) within the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Flores and the wider East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province fall under national tourism policy set by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the NTT provincial government.
Entrance, ranger and conservation fees apply to private boats entering the national park. These amounts are set by the authorities and are revised from time to time.
